Return Policy
1. Scope of Application
This return policy applies to purchases made via our website https://shop.dj-events.be by consumers (B2C). Business customers (B2B) are not entitled to the legal right of withdrawal, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Right of Withdrawal (B2C customers only)
In accordance with the Belgian Code of Economic Law (Book VI), you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days, starting from the day after you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), physically receive the goods.
To exercise your right:
- You must notify us of your decision to withdraw in writing (by email to shop@dj-events.be or by postal mail).
3. Exclusions from the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized.
- Sealed products (e.g., headphones, microphones, software) which were unsealed after delivery, for health or hygiene reasons.
- Digital content once the seal has been broken.
- Products that have been used beyond what is necessary to test them (e.g., signs of wear, installation marks, etc.).
4. Return Conditions
- Items must be in their original condition, complete with original packaging, accessories, and manuals.
- Returns must be made within 14 days of notifying us of your withdrawal.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to an error on our part or a defective product.
5. Refunds
- Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we will refund the amount paid (excluding any extra delivery charges if you chose a non-standard shipping method).
- Refunds are processed within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods, using the same payment method as the original transaction.
6. Damaged or Incorrect Products
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product:
- Please contact us within 48 hours of receipt.
- Photo evidence may be required.
- We will cover the return or replacement costs in such cases.
7. Business Customers (B2B)
The legal right of withdrawal does not apply to transactions between businesses. However, an exchange or return may be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to our prior written approval. In such cases:
- A restocking fee may be applied (usually 10–15% of the net price).
- Returned items must be unused and in original packaging.
